The Cup Series heads into the Lone Star State for the Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. Tyler Reddick remains the points leader following Talladega, where Carson Hocevar captured his first career win. Hocevar is familiar with Texas, having previously won here in the Truck Series.
Joey Logano looks to recapture the magic of last year’s victory at Texas, as his season has been somewhat lackluster so far. He currently sits 15th in the standings and is searching for momentum.
Another driver aiming to turn things around is Ross Chastain. He leaves Talladega 18th in points after a solid 7th-place finish. It’s been well documented that Chastain and Trackhouse Racing haven’t quite found their form this season. However, the No. 1 team finished second at Texas last year, a result that seemed to spark a turnaround. They’ll be hoping to replicate that performance this weekend.
