We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of two-time Cup Series Champion Kyle Busch.

Kyle Busch is the winningest driver in NASCAR history, with 234 victories spanning NASCAR’s three national series.
He claimed his 69th career Truck Series win this past weekend at Dover Motor Speedway.
At this time, no further details have been released. Busch was admitted to the hospital earlier today. He was a devoted husband to Samantha and a loving father to Brexton and Lennix.
A Joint Statement from the Busch Family, Richard Childress Racing, and NASCAR:
“On behalf of the Busch family, everyone at Richard Childress Racing, and all of NASCAR, we are devastated to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Kyle Busch. Our entire NASCAR family is heartbroken by this loss. A future Hall of Famer, Kyle was a rare talent — one who comes along only once in a generation. He was fierce, passionate, immensely skilled, and cared deeply about the sport and its fans. Throughout a career spanning more than two decades, Kyle set records for victories across NASCAR’s national series, won championships at the sport’s highest level, and helped foster the next generation of drivers as a Truck Series team owner. His sharp wit and competitive spirit created a deep emotional connection with race fans of all ages, building the proud and loyal ‘Rowdy Nation.’ Our thoughts are with Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, Kyle and Samantha’s parents, Kurt, and all of Kyle’s family, as well as Richard and Judy Childress, everyone at Richard Childress Racing, his teammates, friends, and fans. NASCAR lost a giant of the sport today, far too soon. During this incredibly difficult time, we ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy and continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Further updates will be shared as appropriate.”
We will continue to provide updates on this developing story as more information becomes available.
