This comes after Corey Day stole a win away from Justin Allgaier last weekend, with both drivers proving they could be serious championship contenders. Despite the loss, Allgaier still holds a commanding 175-point lead over Sheldon Creed, while Day sits fourth in the standings, 195 points back.

Looking back at the last three O'Reilly Series races on the Charlotte oval, it may once again come down to the No. 7 and No. 17 teams, as those two cars have combined to win each of the past three races at the track.

So far this season, three organizations have dominated the series: JR Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Hendrick Motorsports. Together, they have accounted for 13 of the 14 wins this year, with Sheldon Creed’s Atlanta victory standing as the lone exception.

Notable drivers competing this weekend include Cole Custer (#00), Connor Zilisch (#1), Ross Chastain (#9), and Matt Honeyman (#92). It’s also worth noting that Carson Kvapil will pilot the No. 91 this weekend.

What to watch for on race day

-Can the Cup Series regulars keep their cars clean until the finish?

-Will we see a new winner emerge?

-Will Jesse Love return the favor to Rajah Caruth after their recent battles?

-Can anyone begin cutting into Justin Allgaier’s massive points lead?
