Today, Acura announced that it will pause its IMSA GTP program, a decision that comes shortly after its overall victory at Long Beach.

In a statement released today, Meyer Shank Racing confirmed that it will continue its relationship with Acura in IndyCar. The team also noted, “Meyer Shank Racing remains open to continuing its presence in IMSA competition and exploring opportunities with other OEM partners.”

As Meyer Shank Racing and Acura look to finish their IMSA partnership on a strong note, both entries, the No. 93 and No. 60, currently sit fifth and sixth, respectively, in the GTP standings.

The future of Meyer Shank Racing in IMSA beyond this season remains uncertain as the team prepares for the upcoming Monterey SportsCar Championship at Laguna Seca.
