Denny Hamlin wins the Cracker Barrel 400 after a late race restart!

He came back from an early start violation, beating his Joe Gibbs teammates, Bell and
Briscoe
Stage 1
After rain washed out qualifying and delayed the race start by 90 minutes, Denny Hamlin led the field to green but was penalized for jumping the start and had to serve a drive-through penalty.
Tyler Reddick led when the competition caution came out, while Ross Chastain and Chase Elliott were the biggest movers early, each gaining nine positions in the first 35 laps.
Shane van Gisbergen won the race off pit road during the caution as several teams used a two-tire strategy to gain track position. Mechanical issues soon became a major factor, with Connor Zilisch suffering a brake rotor failure that heavily damaged his car. Chastain later experienced a similar brake rotor failure after charging from the back into the top 15, eliminating a second Trackhouse Racing entry.
AJ Allmendinger won Stage 1 following a one-lap sprint to the finish over Larson and Blaney, while Ryan Preece was forced to the garage with a water pump issue.

Stage 2
Denny Hamlin continued his recovery from an early jump-start penalty, working his way back into the top 10 during Stage 2. Ryan Preece's day officially came to an end after radiator damage, reportedly caused by debris from a brake rotor failure.
The green-flag pit cycle was interrupted when Chris Buescher spun Austin Dillon's No. 3 car, bringing out a caution. Brake issues remained a major storyline throughout the race, as Stage 1 winner AJ Allmendinger suffered a brake rotor failure with 12 laps remaining in the stage after spending much of the day running inside the top five.
The stage ultimately finished under caution after Corey Heim made contact with Todd Gilliland's No. 34, also collecting Cole Custer's No. 41 in the incident. Daniel Suárez was credited with the Stage 2 victory.
Stage 2 Point Scores
Suarez, Bowman, Stenhouse Jr, Cindric, Hamlin, McDowell, Bryon, Bell, Briscoe, Keselowski
Final Stage
Brake concerns intensified throughout the final stage as multiple drivers reported a softening brake pedal, foreshadowing more mechanical issues. Denny Hamlin completed an impressive comeback from his early race penalty and led the field back to green, recovering from the first start violation of his career.
The cautions continued to pile up. A stack-up in traffic led to Austin Dillon's No. 3 making contact with Brad Keselowski's No. 6, spinning him into Austin Cindric's No. 2. The incident sparked controversy, with Keselowski's spotter suggesting it was retaliation for earlier contact. Later, Chris Buescher was pushed into Bubba Wallace and William Byron, triggering another multi-car incident that heavily damaged Alex Bowman's car. Yet another caution followed when Carson Hocevar's No. 77 spun the No. 42 in a chain-reaction crash.
After much of the race was controlled by Ford and Chevrolet teams, Joe Gibbs Racing's Toyotas surged to the front, running first, second, third, and ninth with roughly 70 laps remaining. Strategy then became the deciding factor as Hamlin pitted on Lap 257 while Ryan Blaney and Zane Smith attempted to stretch their fuel mileage advantage.
In the closing laps, the race became a showdown between the fuel-saving Fords of Smith and Blaney and the charging JGR Toyotas on fresher tires. Christopher Bell took the lead from Smith after Chris Buescher suffered the fourth brake rotor failure of the race.
Bell led the field to a restart with four laps remaining, but Hamlin ultimately emerged on top in the battle among the JGR drivers. Tyler Reddick was caught in a crash after the finish, while Hamlin completed his comeback drive to score the victory.
